MOANA HEART OF TE FITI SUGAR COOKIES
Moana Sugar Cookies're being made by us in Honour of the Launch of Disney Moana Film on DVD. Given my kids have been playing with the tunes since we watched it I am fairly sure we'll buy the DVD. For Moana Party treats, I've had this Moana sugar free notion in your mind -- a sugar cookie that was pinwheel motivated by Te Fiti, that can be a deal in the movie's center. The Heart item isn't likely to make sense In case you haven't noticed Moana, however it is too complex to describe !
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter, softened
1/2 cup extra virgin coconut oil, softened
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp lime extract
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 large egg
2-1/2 cups flour
Neon green coloring
green food coloring
Parchment Paper
Rolling Pin
Serrated Knife
1 or 2 Half-Sheet Cookie Sheets
Cooling Rack
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cream together the ingredients from butter to baking powder. NOTE: do not melt the coconut or coconut oil softened so they'll cream. Blend in the egg, then add the flour. Divide dough and dye the other one darker green and one a light color of green. Using 2 sheets of paper, then roll each section of dough into a rectangle. Place the green piece on top of the lighter piece then roll up to press on them. Roll up the dough to create a log that is dough. If the dough seems soft, you can refrigerate to make it more easy to cut
Without smashing the biscuits. Cut 1/4-inch slices off the dough log and set them onto a parchment-lined baking sheet (or use a silicone baking mat). I match 15 cookies on each pan. Bake in an oven heated to 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Let cool on baking sheet for about 20 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. Makes about 30 cookies.
