BUTTER PECAN COOKIES
These are flavorful and buttery and there is no frightening and no mixer!
Hello everybody! Sam here from Sugar Spun Run using a different soft & chewy recipe! I shared my own recipe and I've these Butter Pecan Cookies !
I have been baking a lot with pecans making everything and I chose to add them into some batch of biscuits now!
Buttery chewy and soft Butter Pecan Cookies!
Serves: 20 biscuits
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 large egg 1 egg yolk area temperature favored *
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup Heath Toffee pieces (optional, but recommended!)
Directions
- Preheat oven and line a cookie sheet.
- Spread pecan halves on 350F for 3-5 minutes.
- Remove from oven and coarsely chop (don't turn your oven off ). Put aside.
- Combine cooled butter, melted and sugars. Stir well.
- Add egg yolk eggs, and vanilla extract and stir fry till well-combined.
- At a little bowl, whisk together cornstarch, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Add flour mixture to wet ingredients.
- Allow to cool on baking sheet!
Cookies, cooled in an airtight container.
