Lemon High Tea Cookies
Additionally, the texture of the cookies lends itself to be appreciated with tea, therefore that I feel that the name is perfect.
One of my favourite treats on Princess Cruises is that their afternoon tea. What a luxury it would be to enjoy sandwichessnacks and tea at the center of the day!

INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/4 cups bread
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Lemon juice
- Glaze -
- Lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
Instructions:
- In a small bowlwhisk the flour, corn starch and salt together, then put aside.
- Beat until smooth. Add sugarand beat until incorporated.
- While blending, slowly add lemon juice add lemon zest, then.
- While blending (on low), gradually add flour mixture and mix until all the flour is completely incorporated.
- Quit mixing and then scratch the bowl's sides, then cover and refrigerate 30 minutes.
- Use a 1 tbsp sized scoop to scoop out dough, then roll dough into balls and place onto a parchment paper lined After the dough has chilled, or Silpat lined baking sheet. Press down on the dough balls a little to sew the shirts. Place whole baking sheet (with cookie cutter chunks ) from the refrigerator or freezer while the oven heats up.
- Bake in preheated oven. For 11-13 minutes, or until the edges of the biscuits are golden brown.
- Cool only a little about the sheet, and then proceed cookies.
- To make glaze whisk lemon juice together. Add lemon juice.
- Dip cooled cookies into glaze, then go back to wire cooling rack (using a baking sheet underneath to grab extra glaze) and let glaze to put up prior to storing cookies.
