CHRISTMAS CHEESECAKE COOKIES

Hey guys! I adore a cookie that is festive and could not resist to recreate these Patriotic Cheesecake Cookies! It was a no-brainer to make those Christmas Cheesecake Cookies using green, white, red! The best part is.

Ingredients

  1. 8 ounces cream cheese room temperature
  2. 2 eggs
  3. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  4. 2 1/2 cups bread
  5. 2 tsp baking powder
  6. 1/2 tsp salt
  7. 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  8. Iii sugar

Directions

  1. Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth and fluffy at high speed; 1-2 minutes. Add sugar and beat until fluffy and integrated; 1-2 minutes. Beat in vanilla and the eggs; 1 moment.
  2. At a little bowlwhisk the flour, baking powder and salt together. Add the dry ingredients and stir fry until incorporated. Don't over-mix.
  3. Separate the dough.
  4. Add food coloring once chilled until the desired colour is attained, and then integrate in the dough. Add the peppermint extract into the dough you are going to be incorporating the food. Dough will be tacky, but more easy to use! Place back in the fridge for a couple of minutes if you discover it is difficult to use.
  5. To make a cookie cutter, take 1/2 tablespoon of every color dough and then roll together to produce the effect of your selection. Take care to not over feature to prevent mixing the colours. Repeat for the remaining part of the dough and place on baking sheets.
  6. Bake in 350 degrees for 10-11 minutes. Cookies must be not browned, light in colour, and starting to brown on the floor. *Length of time may differ from oven.

Notes

  1. The vanilla smooths out the taste, but to get cheesey taste, a sour, add no extracts in any way or a tsp of lemon juice. The peppermint replaced or may be left out.
  2. Don't overbake. This may result in the cookies to come dry and like.
