CLASSIC PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES (V)


Thick peanut butter biscuits that are classic, in vegetarian form! These biscuits have flavour that is much, you would never have the ability to tell they are vegan!





Welcome everybody, to June! Another month is at the novels -- and this site has been up and running. It is still a toddler, but it is a growin'! Vintage (Vegan) Peanut Butter Cookies

Complete Time: 28 minutes

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients:

  1. 1 teaspoon baking soda
  2. 1/4 tsp salt
  3. Wet Ingredients:
  4. 1/2 cup pork, room temp (I used Earth Balance)
  5. 1/4 cup milk free milk, unsweetened
  6. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven
  2. In a large bowl, blend together peanut butter and space temperature vegan butter having an electrical or stand mixer (if you are peanut butter is too stiff or hard, gently heat it in the microwave for 15-30 minutes )
  3. Add to peanut butter/butter mix both Kinds of sugar and continue to blend until blended
  4. Add milk milk and vanilla extract and blend
  5. Insert the dry mixture to the wet and mix until incorporated
  6. To create these thick and big, scoop bread chunks of 3 tbs and place on a parchment lined baking sheet (I used my moderate cookie spade and scooped 2 chunks each cookie and blended them into 1 giant chunk )
  7. With a fork, gently press on a crisscross pattern. As you press they'll sew Somewhat, but make sure they are still thick
  8. Bake in preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or till edges are firm and bottoms are golden brown
  9. Allow to cool on pan for 5-10 minutes, then move to wire cooling rack to complete cooling (or consume while they are warm!)
