INGREDIENTS
- 1 large egg
- Extract
- 1/2 cup + 3 tbsp white flour (if you step Make Certain to spoon and amount )
- 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips, and more for adding into the tops of the biscuits
Directions

- Cream together brown sugar, the butter and white sugar until creamy and light, at least 3 minutes. Beat in vanilla and the egg.

- Bake for 7-9 minutes or till lightly browned at the borders (even when the centre looks just a tiny under-done -- it cooks longer after being hauled from the oven). These biscuits be chewy and tasty if they underbaked and set up.
- Err on the side of these biscuits for tender biscuits, and tender, chewy!
- If desired press some chocolate chips. Add a sprinkle of sea salt, if needed. Cookies appreciated over 2-3 days.
